Northern Virginia Veterans Association is seeking an Executive Director to drive the future success of the organization through strategic leadership. The role involves managing all program areas and aligning teams under a unified vision, with responsibilities including budget creation, departmental management, and community relations.

Responsibilities

Annually create a strategic organizational plan and overall budget

Manage multiple departments, programs and personnel and oversee quality assurance

Maintain a climate that attracts and retains a talented and diverse staff

Create and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations to facilitate success of organization's financial future

Update and keep Board of Directors informed of nonprofit status

Qualification

Nonprofit managementFinance experienceFundraising experienceProgram developmentBusiness degree

Required

Previous nonprofit management and finance experience

Degree in Business/Nonprofit management/Public Administration or equivalent (Masters preferred)

Successful fundraising and development experience

Experience in large-scale multi-program development and facilitation
