Responsibilities

Responsible for the direct management and fiscal oversight of the HUB

Direct oversight of the policies and procedures associated with managing the Highlander Union, including facilities, event policies, strategic planning, programming and capital projects

Liaison with other critical campus departments including Student Affairs, Auxiliary Services, Facilities Services, Campus Safety, Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety

Manage free speech and expressive activity in association with the Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs office

Required

Direct management and fiscal oversight experience

Experience in facilities management

Knowledge of event policies and strategic planning

Experience in programming and capital projects management

Ability to liaise with campus departments such as Student Affairs, Auxiliary Services, Facilities Services, Campus Safety, Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety

Experience managing free speech and expressive activity

Current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position

Compliance with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements
