Inside Sales Representative - Steel Industry

Confidential company is an established local distributor of building materials in Atlanta, and they are seeking a lead Inside Sales Representative for their Marietta Facility. This role involves performing retail and wholesale sales duties, estimating product fabrication, and prospecting new clients.

Responsibilities

Speak with existing and prospective customers by phone and in person in a very professional and cordial manner
Quote prices and delivery dates
Estimating production times
Order entry into computer system
Identify prospective customers by using business directories
Answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses
Consult with customers post-sale in order to resolve problems if they arise
Monitor market conditions, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
Shop and order special materials as needed from approved vendors
Be able to offer value added services

Required

Previous construction product sales experience is required for this position
Very strong computer literacy skills
Outstanding oral and written communications skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High energy and enthusiasm
High integrity and a strong work ethic
Construction Sales: 3 years (Required)

Preferred

Experience in the construction industry is preferred to include either sales or production
Be able to read/interpret construction drawings would be a bonus
