The role involves designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable cloud solutions, particularly within the U.S. Federal sector.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions primarily on AWS, with integration across Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud

Design and deploy multi-tier, fault-tolerant applications using cloud-native services

Lead and co-design cloud migration efforts from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms

Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST standards for federal systems

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

Implement cost optimization and performance tuning across cloud environments. FinOps experience or certifications are a plus

Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automated deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

Integrate AI/ML capabilities and automation into cloud operations to enhance efficiency and scalability

Conduct technical reviews, audits, and security assessments of cloud infrastructure

Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend strategic improvements
