Account Executive, Southeast
VODA.ai is seeking an Account Executive to join their US sales organization, focusing on expanding their commercial footprint in the Southeast region. The role involves engaging with public and private water utilities to manage and drive the sales process from lead to opportunity while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities
Use your presence and consultative approach to build relationships with prospects, customers, and partners
Demonstrate our value with clear knowledge of the product, use cases, and our value proposition. Perform product demonstrations for qualified leads
Source and identify the deals that make sense for both the customer and our business. Our customers always come first, and it is our responsibility to make sure we are able to support their needs the best we possibly can
Liaise with your territory partners and resellers frequently to maintain close communication about deals and build great relationships with your counterparts
Maintain accurate information of your activities, next steps, probabilities, communications and more within our CRM (HubSpot). VODA.ai is big on teamwork and good data – good CRM hygiene ensures our best-in-class marketing, customer success, and technical teams can do their job to take care of our customers before, and after, the sale
Report directly to the Director of Sales for the Western region and leverage them to help close the deal
Qualification
Required
Are based in, or willing to relocate without assistance to the Great Lakes Region states in the US: FL, GA, LA, AL, MS
Are likable. Customers buy from those they like
Are trustworthy. Customers buy from those they trust
Are professional. Working with AI means you're on the forefront of technology – but we can still be knowledgeable experts that convey confidence and legitimacy
Are motivated. Having a sense of urgency and a desire to drive a deal across the line is critical
Have some civil engineering experience or knowledge of the water/utility industry (GIS, work order systems, hydraulic models, etc)
Work well and play well with others. We are a low-ego organization and do not have time for office politics
Love to travel and are a road warrior. Face-to-face is critical to building relationships, especially in our industry. Expect at least 70% of your time for travel

Have previous experience working with utility or government SaaS
