Verdantas is an environmental consulting firm focused on sustainability and innovation. They are seeking a Survey Intern to assist with hands-on fieldwork supporting land development and environmental projects throughout the Northeast.

Responsibilities

Conduct field surveys to collect data on land features, boundaries, and topography
Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations, GPS units, and levels
Assist in the setup and calibration of survey instruments
Record and document survey data accurately and efficiently
Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and drawings
Ensure compliance with survey standards and project specifications
Communicate findings and observations to the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during fieldwork
Perform other duties as assigned by the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in Surveying or a related field
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Interest in surveying and willingness to learn
Ability to travel as needed for fieldwork
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Previous engineering co-op or related experience is a plus
