Responsibilities
By installing new or modified equipment at the customer's facility and ensuring full functionality according to specifications
Analyzing, reviewing and inspecting findings to determine the source of problems, and recommending repair, replacement, or other corrective actions
Coordinating problem resolution with factory or Phillips inside service support to expedite repairs
Providing on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment
Updating and completing current incomplete service reports to reflect accurately and completely the work performed
Providing feedback to the factory to help update and make changes to the service procedure used in troubleshooting and completing repairs to the machine in the field
Providing a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer
Conducting training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrating skills to trainees, including both team members and customers
Qualification
Required
Experience with maintenance on large machinery, particularly CNC machines
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel on the road up to 80% of the week with possible overnight stays between Monday - Friday
A high mechanical aptitude with some electrical knowledge
Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally
Ability to keep track of expenses and manage paperwork relating to maintenance completed
