Responsibilities
Gain a strong understanding of GlobalFoundries’ technology offerings by engaging with internal experts to explore key features and differentiators
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align GF technologies with specific customer needs and application requirements
Support customers through technical evaluations and tapeout processes in partnership with GF subject matter experts
Develop clear, customer-facing technical documentation that demonstrates how GF technologies address targeted application and market challenges
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Qualification
Required
Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field through an accredited degree program during the time of the internship
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship
Preferred
Prior related internship or co-op experience
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc
Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Coursework in Circuit Design, Semiconductor Device Physics, or Materials Science
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software, and Linux operating systems
