They are seeking a Part-Time Field Inspector to conduct inspections of various moving conveyances, manage their own schedule, and complete reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Complete field surveys for all moving conveyances that transport people and/or items. This includes but is not limited to elevators, escalators, man-lifts, wheelchair lifts, and dumbwaiters

Complete all subsequent reports following inspections

Manage your own schedule to ensure inspections and subsequent reports are completed on time and in a courteous manner

Qualification

Elevator industry experienceQEI/CEI certificationElevator code knowledgeCommunication skillsAnalytical skillsAttention to detailProblem-solving skills

Required

Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance of the conveyance equipment and current elevator code

Previous experience in the Elevator industry; QEI/CEI certification is highly preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

An ability to pay strong attention to thoroughly inspect the equipment

An ability to work on top of high-rise buildings and elevator shafts

Preferred

QEI/CEI certification is highly preferred
