Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 31 markets. The Tax Reporting Manager will develop technical expertise in tax reporting, prepare tax provisions and disclosures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance and forecasting.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and semi-annual tax provision and accounting disclosures, including 1120 and 1065 tax returns for various entities

Assist with reporting and analysis of effective tax rates, deferred balances, and cash flow impacts, and assess the effects of tax law changes

Collaborate with teams across Finance, Treasury, and Tax Advisory to support compliance, forecasting, and group reorganizations

Required

Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and understand transaction impacts

Ability to work independently and research across multiple data sources

Excellent communication skills to present findings and articulate confidence levels

Experience with tax compliance and understanding of tax positions and their future implications

Proven ability to liaise with cross-functional teams to support business transactions and reporting
