Responsibilities
Lead all daily accounting, administration, and financial reporting for the BDC, partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership
Direct the monthly and quarterly close process, produce complete NAV packages, and ensure full compliance with SEC and IRS requirements for BDCs
Prepare and review 10-Ks, 10-Qs, N-2s, 8-Ks, and other required filings while maintaining accurate books, schedules, and supporting documentation
Oversee valuation processes, validate portfolio pricing, analyze fund performance metrics, and monitor daily cash and investment activity across entities
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Tax, FP&A, and Investor Relations while managing sub-administrators, custodians, transfer agents, and valuation firms to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
10+ years of private credit or alternative investment accounting experience, including team management, with prior public accounting experience
Strong Excel skills with expertise in SEC reporting, fund accounting systems, fair value measurement, and required experience with BDCs, registered funds, or CLO accounting
Deep understanding of private credit structures, loan products, valuation methodologies, and internal controls for alternative investment firms
Detail-oriented, highly organized leader with strong communication skills and the ability to manage priorities in fast-paced environments
Preferred
CPA or CFA strongly preferred
