Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Real Estate Fund Accountant in Boston, MA. This hybrid role manages accounting, reporting, and valuation for real estate investments while partnering with JV partners, administrators, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting for real estate investments, including review of promote structures, fees, valuations, and supporting schedules
Review quarterly and annual financial statements with fund administrators and manage fund-level audits to ensure accuracy and completeness
Review internal valuations and external appraisals, prepare materials for the Valuation Committee, and support ongoing performance analysis
Oversee weekly cash availability analyses, evaluate loan activity, and coordinate investor capital calls and distribution notices
Partner with Investment, Portfolio Analytics, Tax, Legal, and partners while maintaining system integrity and supporting process improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
2-4 years of real estate accounting experience, ideally from Big 4 public accounting or a real estate investment manager
Strong background in real estate investment accounting, valuation analysis, and financial reporting
Exceptional communication skills
High attention to detail
Strong prioritization abilities
Professionalism to interact confidently with all levels of the organization

Preferred

CPA strongly preferred
Proficiency in Yardi preferred
Strong understanding of real estate valuation, property operations, financial markets, and tax considerations for private real estate investments
