Responsibilities
Leverage NSA's unique capabilities to understand and mitigate global Cyber threats
Research foreign intelligence targets and their geo-political environment
Apply new techniques and develop creative solutions to address analytic problems such as synthesizing large volumes of data and disparate sources of information
Understand communications technology and burgeoning commercial and foreign intelligence target technology trends
Craft written assessments of foreign intelligence that provide unique insight into target intentions unavailable from other intelligence disciplines
Collaborate effectively (both within NSA and with the Intelligence Community) to further NSA missions
Qualification
Required
A degree in any field is acceptable
Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: performing intelligence or language analysis; writing, editing, or producing technical/analytic reports or products (e.g., working aids, briefings); conducting research and analysis using established professional methods and techniques; data/information management in an area directly related to an NSA mission; threat analysis, risk analysis, or traffic analysis; geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems; or drafting/editing intelligence reports
Experience may also include multi-source or technical threat analysis (e.g., SIGINT, ELINT, FISINT, Open-Source, and Geospatial) or experience in a similar mission in the IC or DoD
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience
Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 5 years of relevant experience
This position includes an Unproctored Internet Testing (UIT) requirement measuring cognitive ability, motivation, and English proficiency
