Responsibilities

Manage the monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and financial reporting

Manage General Ledger, Journal Entries, account reconciliations and balance sheet integrity

Supervise accounting staff, providing guidance, training and performance management

Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis

Oversee inventory accounting, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reserves

Partner with operations and supply chain to analyze production costs and improve operational efficiency

Prepare and review management reports, KPIs and financial analyses for Executive Management

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support internal and external audits

Coordinate with tax and external advisors on compliance, filings and documentation

Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning initiatives

Drive process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function
