Responsibilities

Work closely with and assist manufacturing engineers in the conduct of various assignments

Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things

Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of manufacturing engineers

Complete assigned tasks on time

Gather and assemble data for manufacturing engineers

Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network

Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the team, methods, programs and practices

Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Other duties as assigned

Mechanical EngineeringCAD Drafting DesignASME Y14 StandardsMS OfficeHands-on Machining ExperienceInterpersonal SkillsCommunication SkillsSelf-starter

Required

Sophomore, Junior or Senior Mechanical Engineering Technology / CAD Drafting Design student / Manufacturing Engineering / Operations or related discipline

Familiarity with ASME Y14 Standards, tolerancing, etc

GPA 2.75 or higher

Working knowledge of MS Office

Self-starter and independent working attributes are essential

Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Interest in developing design skills with large power equipment
