Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for materials, equipment, and fabricated components
Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery tickets
Schedule freight carriers and communicate shipment timelines with internal teams and external vendors
Receive materials, verify quantities and condition, and ensure accurate system documentation
Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies
Maintain organized shipping and receiving records to support audits and project reporting
Partner with operations and project teams to align material flow with production and job schedules
Support inventory accuracy through routine checks and documentation updates
Maintain a safe, organized shipping and receiving area in compliance with safety and company standards
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse coordination
Familiarity with freight carriers, LTL shipments, and delivery scheduling
Proficiency with basic computer tools, including ERP systems, inventory software, or Excel
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
Preferred
Experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments strongly preferred
Forklift experience or certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Exposure to steel or fabrication operations is a plus
