Responsibilities
Lead month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and audits while ensuring GAAP compliance
Oversee Payroll, Accounts Payable, and general accounting operations, improving accuracy and efficiency
Strengthen internal controls, assess risk, and implement process improvements across the department
Partner with the CFO on forecasting, financial modeling, and business data analysis
Manage federal and state tax filings, reconcile financial data, and ensure accuracy in all reports
Collaborate cross-functionally to support system implementations and business initiatives
Provide mentorship, guidance, and accountability for a team of four accounting professionals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
10+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or public accounting role
Proven experience managing accounting operations and financial reporting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills with a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
Preferred
CPA or advanced certification strongly preferred
