Responsibilities
Own day-to-day billing and revenue cycle operations
Improve billing accuracy, collections, and cash flow
Reduce aged accounts receivable and payer denials
Lead self-pay billing strategies, payment plans, and patient financial workflows
Establish KPIs and reporting to track performance and accountability
Manage and develop U.S.-based billing leaders and an offshore billing team
Partner with clinical, intake, and finance teams to improve documentation and workflows
Oversee claims submission, denial management, payment posting, and reconciliation
Ensure billing practices comply with all payer and regulatory requirements
Serve as a key advisor to the CFO on revenue performance and operational improvements
Qualification
Required
4+ years of healthcare billing and revenue cycle experience
3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MCO, and commercial billing
Proven success improving self-pay collections and reducing AR
Experience managing billing teams (offshore experience is a plus)
Comfortable working in EHR and billing systems
Strong Excel and reporting skills
Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally
