Senior Program Manager
SoTalent is a leading organization in financial services and risk-driven program delivery, seeking an experienced Program Management professional to drive complex, enterprise-level initiatives. The role involves defining program strategies, partnering with executive leaders, and ensuring adherence to program management standards.
Responsibilities
Define and manage program strategies aligned to organizational priorities, risk tolerance, and delivery complexity
Contribute to long-term business planning by shaping multi-year roadmaps, execution strategies, and value delivery approaches
Partner with executive leaders and program sponsors to align on solutions, scope, and delivery plans
Provide clear, data-driven status reporting, highlighting progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Perform analysis, identify root causes, and recommend actionable solutions and work products
Navigate complex discussions, resolve conflicts, and negotiate trade-offs to balance business demand with delivery capacity
Ensure adherence to enterprise program management standards, governance, controls, and reporting practices
Lead and sustain organizational change initiatives using established change management frameworks
Identify, assess, and manage risks in accordance with compliance, risk, and governance policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
6+ years of project and/or program management experience, including launching new programs or managing large, complex initiatives
Strong knowledge of project, program, or portfolio management principles and multi-year planning
Experience using program management tools, methodologies, and performance metrics
Solid understanding of risk management, governance, and change management practices
Experience managing and reporting on budgets and financial performance
Ability to assess risks and rewards across multiple technologies, teams, and business objectives
Preferred
A product-oriented mindset with the ability to balance user experience, business outcomes, and technical feasibility
Data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on metrics and continuous improvement
Comfort working in Agile environments, managing roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery cycles
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives with complex dependencies
Strong collaboration skills across Legal, Risk, Compliance, and HR teams to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance
Experience with HR technology platforms (such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM) and process optimization
Proficiency in workflow design, documentation, and execution tools
Passion for inclusive, human-centered solutions that align with organizational values
Military service experience or affiliation is a plus
