Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
The Metropolitan Council is the regional government for the Twin Cities metropolitan area, and they are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a primary contact for managers and supervisors. Responsibilities
Provide consultation to managers and supervisors of the Community Development and Metropolitan Transportation Services divisions in the following areas of HR expertise: managing employee performance, employee relations, conflict resolution, job classification, reorganization and restructuring, and compensation
Work proactively with assigned business unit leaders in the Community Development and Metropolitan Transportation Services divisions to address workforce challenges and strategies
Conduct job classification evaluations for new and reclassified positions and prepare reports and job classification documentation to support recommended classification and compensation changes
Lead and participate in HR projects and HR Strategic Plan initiatives
Partner with other HR subject matter experts (labor relations, learning and organizational development, occupational health, talent management) to integrate and deliver HR services and programs
Review and respond to workplace complaints as appropriate, which may include conducting investigations into alleged employee misconduct

Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED with nine years of experience
Associate degree with seven years of experience
Bachelor's degree with five years of experience
Master's degree with three years of experience
Experience in employee relations
Experience in performance management
Experience in job classification
Experience in compensation
