Operational Excellence Engineer
Keystone Management, LLC is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to support multiple facilities by driving continuous improvement, safety excellence, and quality performance across maintenance operations. This role involves extensive travel and responsibilities like conducting operational assessments, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting site startups/transitions.
Responsibilities
Conduct on-site assessments of maintenance operations, safety compliance, quality standards, and workflow efficiency
Lead CI initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen events
Support startups, customer transitions, and new scope mobilizations, including CMMS setup, asset onboarding, and team training
Strengthen site safety practices and regulatory compliance (OSHA, company policies, JHAs, audits)
Conduct quality checks on maintenance work and support implementation of standardized SOPs and workmanship standards
Analyze CMMS data to improve PM compliance, backlog management, labor utilization, and asset reliability
Assist with preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance program development
Provide temporary Facility Manager coverage, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, vendor management, and customer communication
Train and coach technicians and supervisors on SOPs, CI tools, CMMS usage, safety procedures, and quality practices
Collaborate with EHS, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and leadership on operational improvement priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field
2–5 years of experience in maintenance operations, facility management, CI, quality
Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, maintenance best practices, safety standards, and quality processes
Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead in the field, influence without authority, and manage operations during interim FM assignments
Preferred
Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt)
