Responsibilities
Develop and prepare air and emissions permit applications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Create Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans tailored to client requirements
Conduct stormwater and pollution prevention planning to minimize environmental impact
Manage environmental compliance projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables meet client and regulatory expectations
Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to address environmental concerns and provide solutions
Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and integrate them into project planning and execution
Qualification
Required
Licensed Engineer (PE preferred) in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on compliance and permitting
Proven expertise in air and emissions permitting
Demonstrated experience in preparing SPCC Plans
Strong knowledge of stormwater and pollution prevention planning
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with environmental site assessments and remediation
Familiarity with additional environmental compliance areas, such as hazardous waste management or industrial hygiene
Air permitting, spcc plans, and remediation system design
