RiseIT Solutions is seeking a Vulnerability Management Administrator to join their team. The role involves assisting with Windows Server and Client Operating System patching and configuration, as well as application patching and testing to implement vulnerability mitigations.

Responsibilities

Use Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (aka SCCM) and Group Policies (GPO) to deploy patches, updates, and configurations
Document vulnerability mitigation (patch deployment & configuration) procedures
Develops processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance & support actions
Testing and implementation of certain application security updates (Adobe Reader, Office)
Testing and implementation of Windows Server/Client Operating System security updates
Testing and implementation of Windows Server/Client security configurations such as disabling SSLv3, SMBv1, etc
Monitor application life cycles and update accordingly
Review CVE's monthly, apply additional configurations and mitigations as needed
Work with application teams to test and verify vulnerability mitigations prior to production deployments
Ensure deployments are completed during appropriate times to meet business requirements (early morning/late night/some weekend deployments)
Ensure vulnerability scans are functioning and accurate, troubleshoot and remediate where necessary
Create Tenable Security Center dashboards and reports as necessary to communicate remediation status & information
Troubleshoot SCCM clients, distribution points, and Windows Update on systems to ensure full functionality

Required

7 years' experience with Windows Server/Client OS management & configuration
5 years' experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/ECM)
3 years' experience with PowerShell scripting
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server & Windows 10 operating system (installation, management, troubleshooting)
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (ECM/SCCM)
Strong Knowledge of Active Directory/Group Policy administration
Knowledge of core network infrastructure services, functions, and protocols
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to solve problems involving remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple environments in a business area
Ability to be a team player; flexible, friendly, congenial and enthusiastic, willingness to do whatever it takes to complete assignments on time with quality
Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitments to tasks
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both technical and business related, and utilize as needed
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a given time
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strict attention to detail
Creativity in proactively developing approaches to problems and recommending actions to management, or implementing the recommendations
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Preferred

Knowledge of Tenable Security Center
Knowledge of report creation in SQL Reporting Services
Knowledge of PowerBI Dashboard creation/management
MCSE Certification or equivalent
ITIL v3+ Foundations Certification
