Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of projects. Provide day-to-day leadership and delivery from Pre-Construction through closeout
Verify and document overall contract compliance, interpret project drawings and specifications, and provide recommendations to the client. Review and route project deliverables, including submittals, RFIs, work plans, schedules, meeting minutes, etc
Aid in coordinating contractors' work activities, chair internal and external project meetings, and actively participate in the contractor's invoice review process. Actively communicate project status to clients and stakeholders
Assist in project closeout activities, including processing documentation, warranties, punch lists, and final change management and invoicing documentation. Develop and maintain logs, reports, or other documentation for project reporting
Interact with construction contractors in performing Quality Assurance inspections. Support client interaction and coordination between internal and external project stakeholders
Take pride in preventing delays or rework by proactively identifying and addressing issues. Provide solutions to meet client expectations

Required

BA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid Driver License required

Preferred

BA/BS in Civil Engineering or Construction related field with 8 + Years of relevant experience
Professional Engineer License
Chicago Department of Transportation Bridge Experience or National Bascule Bridge Experience
