Responsibilities

Stand up and configure LMS platforms (Totara, Cornerstone, Moodle) for federal public health clients, ensuring readiness for migration and implementation

Provide technical guidance on system architecture, configuration options, and optimization opportunities

Configure dashboards, learning plans, certifications, roles, and permissions tailored to training needs

Partner with stakeholders to design workflows, notifications, enrollments, and learning pathways

Document and refine training processes to support approved governance model

Represent client in high-level, enterprise-level meetings and communicate strategic organizational requirements effectively

Develop and execute test plans, validate configurations, and support issue resolution

Adjust configurations as organizational needs evolve and maintain clear documentation of decisions

Serve as a subject matter expert on LMS best practices, governance, and long-term sustainability

Required

8 years of total work experience

1 year of experience implementing and configuring enterprise LMS platforms (Totara, Cornerstone, Moodle) and system integrations

1 year of experience operating in highly regulated federal public health environments with adherence to agency-wide policies, standards, and oversight processes

Strong understanding of training governance, business process design, and system configuration

Ability to collaborate across multiple, senior-level stakeholders and agency leaders

Hands-on expertise in LMS configuration and workflow design

Familiarity with testing methodologies and user acceptance testing

Excellent communication and documentation skills
