Responsibilities
Assist with content creation for internal and external communications
Help develop and edit press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media content
Support media relations efforts and maintain contact lists
Assist with preparing presentations and communication materials for stakeholders
Help monitor and track communication campaigns and initiatives
Qualification
Required
Experience in communications, public relations, or similar disciplines
Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
Ability to multi-task and manage various communication projects
Strong organizational development skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams
Self-starter attitude and out-of-the-box thinking capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport and networking
English
Ability to handle demanding tasks and work in various environments
Flexibility to work during evenings or after-hours if needed
Capability to lift materials or equipment when required
Preferred
Experience in media relations, content writing, or communications campaigns
Project management experience is a plus
Preferred Majors: Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields
Proficient in content creation, project management, and organizational development
Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
Creative thinking and ability to find new approaches to communication strategies
