They are seeking a Service Manager to lead maintenance operations at one of their residential properties, overseeing daily work orders and managing the maintenance team while also performing hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all maintenance operations for the community
Assign and monitor work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance schedules
Perform and oversee repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry
Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
Supervise and support the property maintenance team
Order and/or manage maintenance supplies and inventory
Work with Property Manager to manage maintenance budgets
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Participate in on-call emergency maintenance rotation
Ensure all work is performed according to safety regulations and company standards
Qualification
Required
3+ years of maintenance experience in multi-family or commercial properties
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
HVAC/EPA certification required (or ability to obtain)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
Ability to Commute: Macon, GA 31211
Ability to Relocate: Macon, GA 31211: Relocate before starting work
Preferred
1+ year of maintenance team leadership or supervisory experience
High school or equivalent
Property maintenance: 5 years
multifamily maintenance supervisory: 3 years
HVAC Certification
