Responsibilities
Duties may include work package development of overhead, underground residential distribution, and underground cable/conduit, field visits or field engineering of project requirements, identification of conflicting utilities, engineering and design calculations, and post-construction reviews
Qualification
Required
2-year technical degree or H.S. Diploma with less than 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred
Experience with STORMS, Katapult, ESRI, AutoCAD, PDS, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus
Familiarity with Pole Loading software (DDS, O-Calc, SPIDA Calc, Pole Foreman, LD Field)
Proven ability to communicate with clients and project teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with projects in 3rd party make-ready design with electric utility distribution design being a plus
Experience with development of civil & electrical packages associated with proposed work for each 3rd party carrier
Ability to read and seek information through various client supplied documents/standards
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
Strong understanding of mathematics
