Responsibilities
Participate in an informative 2-month training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives to boost your career in IT recruiting
Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates
Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business
Gain a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role
Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively/actively looking for employment
Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates’ technical experience to see if they are a match for the job opening
Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidate’s top skills for client review
Prepare the candidate for phone and in-person interviews by having in-depth conversations surrounding questions, scenarios, and technical experience that may be asked by the client
Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for both consultant and client
Gather and prepare all onboarding paperwork for the candidate after the offer/acceptance stage
Continue to stay connected with the consultant through happy hours, in-person meetings, coffees, etc., to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role
Meet minimum weekly metrics, including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
0 years of professional experience – Training provided!

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to develop strong and genuine relationships with our customers and consultants
