Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support and counsel to employees and managers on HR-related matters, policies, and best practices

Ensure organizational compliance with all federal and California state employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws

Address and manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and coaching

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the UKG system

Support and administer employee benefit programs and serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries

Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures

Contribute to internal HR audits, compliance assessments, and implementation of corrective measures where necessary

Remain current with changes in labor laws and HR best practices, especially those specific to California
