Responsibilities

Execute formal tea service with precision, including proper table settings, tea presentation, and course progression
Maintain a polished, composed, and attentive presence throughout the service period
Set and reset tables according to established tea service standards, ensuring alignment, cleanliness, and visual harmony
Serve tea and accompaniments using correct techniques, timing, and posture
Manage assigned tables with seamless pacing and unobtrusive attentiveness
Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the tea experience with professionalism and clarity
Anticipate guest needs by observing cues and acknowledging preferences, dietary restrictions, and special occasions
Provide menu guidance with confident, refined storytelling regarding teas, accompaniments, and service rituals
Adjust service style to suit guest expectations while maintaining the formality of tea service
Address guest feedback or concerns promptly and discreetly
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all teas, including origin, flavor profiles, steeping methods, and service times
Understand the composition and presentation of all tea service accompaniments, including savories, pastries, and condiments
Execute proper tea preparation, steeping, and pouring techniques with consistency and care
Remain current on seasonal selections, specialty teas, and menu updates
Ensure all items are served at appropriate temperatures and in flawless condition
Coordinate closely with culinary, pastry, and service teams to ensure proper pacing and presentation
Follow service procedures that support consistency, product integrity, and guest comfort
Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system
Support opening, closing, and mid shift duties to maintain full service readiness
Adapt smoothly to volume changes while maintaining service standards
Communicate clearly and professionally with all departments to ensure seamless service flow
Participate in pre shift briefings to align on reservations, special notes, and service priorities
Support fellow team members during peak periods while maintaining accountability for assigned tables
Contribute to a calm, respectful, and service focused team environment
Uphold the highest standards of grooming, posture, language, and professional demeanor
Conduct continuous visual checks of tables, china, linens, and serviceware
Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards
Protect guest privacy and maintain discretion at all times

Required

Previous experience in hospitality, tea service, fine dining, or elevated food and beverage environments

Proficiency with POS systems
Availability for weekends, holidays, and peak service periods

Preferred
