Associate Administrative Assistant - Finance (On-site)

Government Administration
Responsibilities
Provides administrative support for the Finance Department, delivering exceptional customer assistance, problem-solving, and/or complaint resolution via all forms of communication
Serve as a first point of contact for the Finance Department by answering phones, assisting walk-in guests, and answering, resolving, or directing inquiries made directly to the Department
Handles accounting related functions; receives payments in the form of cash, check, money order, and/or credit cards from customers; calculates change and issues receipts; tracks expenditures; and processes check requests
Receives and processes incoming correspondence and deliveries, processes outgoing mail
Enter data into various systems and monitor division email
Coordinate routine office management and operations, including purchasing and financial activities
Maintain appropriate confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Requires a high school diploma
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
