They are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead a team in technical analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and project management for water resource engineering projects.

Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tasks, including set up of models, guiding the team during a modeling effort, and review of modeling work prepared by others on the team
Work in collaboration with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD) in producing plans and specifications
Consistently managing and delivering projects on time and within budget
Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff
Participation in local professional organizations, preparing, and presenting market specific papers and presentations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline
At least 8 years of relevant experience
Licensed Professional (PE) Engineer
Varied software experience including 1-D and 2-D hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, 1-D and 2-D HEC RAS, PCSWMM, HydroCAD or other modeling software
Wide knowledge of water resources engineering analysis and design, with the ability to lead project development and determination of solutions to meet client needs
Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills
Excellent technical writing skills
Excellent team leadership skills
Open to active participation in professional organizations
Working knowledge and experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley Microstation products
Experience in site grading design, surface runoff management, detention design, conveyance
