Planning and preparing equipment
Assisting in preparation and positioning of patients
Assisting physicians with biopsy, counter traction, polypectomy, and other therapies as required
Demonstrating an advanced knowledge of Endoscopy procedures by anticipating needs and preparing equipment in advance

Qualification

Endoscopy Technician CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS)High school diploma

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Endoscopy Technician Certification required within 90 days of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
