The Summer Intern, Procurement-Contract Compliance will assist the team in contract compliance, contractor engagement, and database management, gaining hands-on experience in procurement activities.

Responsibilities
Navigate an external database by entering data and generating reports related to procurement and contract compliance
Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure they are accurate and comply with regulations and contractual terms
Support contractor engagement initiatives, including outreach efforts, conferences, and events aimed at promoting collaboration between prime contractors and small businesses
Assist in ensuring that all procurement activities and contractor agreements align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with basic database management and report generation
Exposure to administrative tasks and reviewing documents in an academic or internship setting
Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
High energy and strong work ethic to manage various tasks and responsibilities
Good aptitude and eagerness to learn about procurement and compliance processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manage data and create reports
Strong attention to detail when reviewing invoices and supporting documentation
English

Strong willingness to learn and a positive, adaptable attitude
Previous exposure to procurement or contract compliance-related work, internships, or coursework
Preferred Majors: Business, Political Science
Understanding of procurement processes and contractor engagement strategies
Experience with invoice review or compliance-related tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with contractors and internal teams
