Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality private and group instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, and/or catching based on individual expertise
Clearly break down complex concepts to ensure understanding and engagement from both athletes and parents
Build, manage, and grow a personal client base by proactively seeking new training opportunities
Develop strong, lasting relationships with athletes and families, involving parents in the training process when appropriate
Maintain a positive, professional, and outgoing presence that aligns with DBAT’s values and commitment to athlete development
Collaborate effectively with fellow instructors and staff while supporting overall facility operations as needed
Demonstrate initiative by contributing to personal business growth and the broader success of DBAT
Participate in camps, clinics, and special training programs
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of collegiate level playing experience or equivalent coaching experience
Strong understanding of baseball/softball fundamentals, mechanics, and game strategy
Proven ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with athletes, parents, and staff
Confidence in instructional ability, paired with a positive attitude and athlete-first mindset
Personable, outgoing, and motivated to grow both personally and professionally
Willingness to invest time upfront to establish and grow a client base
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage and grow a book of business
Team-oriented with a willingness to assist wherever needed within the facility
Ability to create a welcoming, supportive, and motivating environment for athletes and families
Experience using video analysis or training technology to enhance instruction
