Human Resources Assistant Manager
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is seeking a Human Resources Assistant Manager who will perform professional duties across various HR functions. The role involves supporting employee relations, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while promoting a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Support employee relations initiatives by providing guidance on HR policies, workplace issues, and conflict resolution
Coordinate and manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring support
Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and compliant new-hire experience
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and applicant tracking systems
Partner with department managers to identify current and future hiring and workforce needs
Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations

Qualification
Required
Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and talent management
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong computer skills necessary including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Possess strong written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in HR systems, applicant tracking systems, and data entry
Ability to analyze information and provide practical HR recommendations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior experience in Human Resources or a supervisory/managerial role
