Responsibilities
Administering and maintaining enterprise network environments, including hardware, software, wireless systems, and configurations
Configuring, managing, and monitoring firewalls and other network security technologies
Implementing and supporting enterprise security solutions such as VPNs and perimeter defenses
Protecting data, applications, and infrastructure through the planning and execution of network security controls
Troubleshooting and resolving network, hardware, and software issues
Replacing and repairing faulty network hardware as needed
Monitoring network performance and recommending or implementing optimizations
Supporting disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
Managing network access controls and usage
Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, operating systems, and hardware
Qualification
Required
6+ years of combined experience in network engineering and cybersecurity
Experience with cybersecurity and hands-on network configuration is a must
Strong ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
Thorough understanding of the OSI model
Proficiency creating accurate network diagrams and documentation (Microsoft Visio preferred)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to obtain and maintain a Washington State Class III Gaming License
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
Preferred
Experience in casino, gaming, tribal government, or other high-security environments strongly preferred
Experience with Aruba switches preferred
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls preferred
Familiarity with Illumio and Zscaler preferred
CISSP, CISM
CCNA, CCNP
CEH, GSEC, GCIA, GCWN
Security+, CySA+, CASP+
Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE4+
Illumio and Zscaler certifications
