Responsibilities
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S projects and Kaizen events
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in manufacturing
Review, update, and create technical documentation (SOPs, work instructions, installation guides)
Build product prototypes and ensure smooth handoff to production
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes
Conduct time studies and support Lean Manufacturing activities
Provide technical support to both internal and external customers
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in Engineering Technology or a related field
Associate's degree in engineering technology or equivalent work experience
Technical writing experience (updating SOPs, work instructions, etc.)
Preferred
Experience with ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
Mechanical and electrical skills; soldering experience a plus
Familiarity with printed circuit board assemblies, marine/aviation industries, or plastic welding/fabrication
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication
Ability to conduct independent research and work well in a team
