Responsibilities
Learn all aspects of asbestos litigation and quickly become responsible for handling cases
Case management responsibilities include written discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and trial work as a second chair
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
Work as an individual and as a part of a team on behalf of injured clients
Work under a deadline in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
A valid J.D. from an ABA accredited institution and admission to bar of Missouri
Excellent legal research and writing abilities
Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
Ability to work as an individual and as a part of a team on behalf of injured clients
Ability to work under a deadline in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing sample required with resume
Preferred
Background in plaintiff-side asbestos litigation is preferred
Other desirable experience areas include, but are not limited to, personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability
