Responsibilities
Manage and execute defined research projects
Communicate results through written reports and oral presentations
Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation, and ensure data quality and integrity
Work with Quality team to employ tools and techniques when developing test methods and product specifications
Participate in site Continuous Improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency
Review and/or author test reports, work instructions, and other technical documents as required
Provide management with weekly progress updates
Collaborate with and support other internal R&D and functional groups as needed
Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees
Any other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
2 years of lab experience using gas-phase analytical equipment w/ equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Ability to clearly communicate technical information and ideas to internal and external audiences
Strong written and verbal communication
Good recordkeeping (lab notebook, written test plans and reports)
