Accounting Assistant
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the financial operations of a HOA management company. The role involves performing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Record homeowner assessments and other receivables accurately
Assist in reconciling HOA bank accounts monthly
Prepare and maintain financial statements for multiple associations
Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes
Enter transactions into accounting software and maintain accurate ledgers
Organize and file financial documents for compliance and audits
Respond to homeowner inquiries regarding account balances and payments
Coordinate with property managers and vendors on billing issues
Ensure adherence to HOA governing documents and state regulations
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, or similar)
Strong Excel and data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
HOA or property management experience
