Responsible for managing and maintaining the Snowflake data platform
Play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our data infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Snowflake Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience in Snowflake administration, database management, and performance tuning typically required
Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, storage, virtual warehouses, and data sharing concepts
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (DBMS) and data warehousing
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience in deploying and managing Snowflake within a cloud environment
Knowledge of security best practices, including user access control, authentication, encryption, and data privacy regulations
Experience in capacity planning, scaling, and resource management in Snowflake to optimize performance and cost-efficiency
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred
