IT OT System Administrator Sr.
ENGIE North America is leading the Zero-Carbon Transition, and they are seeking an IT-OT System Operations Administrator to support the stability, security, and performance of systems across their integrated IT-OT environment. This role involves managing Linux and Windows environments, overseeing SCADA and ICS platforms, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and reliability standards.

Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and Windows servers
Deploy, secure, and troubleshoot OT and SCADA systems supporting ENGIE BESS operations
Execute system patching, backups, and recovery processes
Collaborate with IT-OT, SCADA, and engineering teams on system design and documentation
Implement and enforce ENGIE cybersecurity standards and ensure compliance with NERC CIP requirements
Maintain diagrams, documentation, and reports for audits and regulatory reviews
Manage and secure remote access systems and support cybersecurity incident response
Perform site visits for equipment maintenance, system support, and project implementation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. An associate degree with a minimum of (6) years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, will also be considered
A minimum of five (5) years of IT Server Operations
Advanced expertise in Linux administration, scripting (Bash), and command-line tools
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking principles
Familiarity with virtual environments, including Microsoft Azure
Understanding of NERC CIP compliance and cybersecurity practices
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication with a focus on reliability and teamwork
Must be available to travel domestically up to 50% of the time to industrial sites, including occasional overnight trips
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
