Responsibilities
Provide supervision for the electrical maintenance work force in the Underground Division
Responsible for carrying out construction and electrical maintenance plans in a safe productive work environment
Perform all network and communication maintenance duties required in the mine and on surface Equipment includes, but not limited to fiber optic network, wireless network, Cisco switches, Radio and radio controls
Responsible for administering company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Willingness to learn and apply new skills to repair all underground mobile mining equipment required
Strong dedication to safety and courageous leadership required
Proven safe work history required
Eight (8) years' experience working in an underground mining environment required
Ability to work effectively with all departments in a team environment required
Excellent communication skill required
High and low voltage power distribution required
Strong computer skills required
Ability to perform all essential functions of this position required
The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
Preferred
Three (3) years experience with underground network and communications preferred
Formal education in network and/or communications preferred
Possess strong knowledge/skills in Network & Communications repair, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of complex underground equipment preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP/EAM preferred
Knowledge of conveyor systems, ventilation systems, pumping systems, and communication systems preferred
