The Builder plays a crucial role in ensuring homes are constructed according to specifications while coordinating with various stakeholders and maintaining safety and cleanliness on job sites.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate vendors, trade partners, inspectors and others for the construction of new homes in order to maintain scheduled baselines

Maintain a clean and safe jobsite/work environment

Maintain all required Best Management Practices' for each home/community under your supervision

Assist in permitting individual jobs as needed

Review and approve purchase orders for work performed and materials ordered

Communicate at least one time per week via telephone with each customer with our sales agent present

Oversee completion of Verification of Completion List

Meet with customers on site for walk-throughs and other meetings when necessary

Participate in weekly team meetings

Assist in recruiting trade partners

Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times

Adhere to and enforce OSHA requirements on the job site

Qualification

Required

A degree in Construction Management and/or equivalent experience is preferred

Have a valid driver's license

Must be able to prioritize and have strong organizational skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, with strong follow up and follow through

Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, self-motivation and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Must have great communication skills, both written and verbal

Quick to learn new software and systems

Equally successful working independently and as a part of a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook)
