Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment services. The Registered Nurse (RN) will ensure the provision of safe and high-quality medical and nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, focusing on client assessments and education.

Responsibilities

Completes assessments as part of the admission process and throughout the client’s stay

Executes orders from the medical providers, including medication administration and assessments, documenting all care in the electronic client record (ECR)

Performs point of care testing, including obtaining urine specimens, and arranges transport to lab as ordered

Provides individual and family counseling

Participates in the development and delivery of educational curriculum on medical topics

Supervises LPNs providing nursing care

Administers medication as required by protocol

Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed

Completes clinical documentation as required

Ensures client care by providing support to the interdisciplinary team as needed, which includes coordinating care with outside providers and discharge planning

Abides by all federal and state regulations and accreditation standards in the delivery of nursing care

Maintains good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources

Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment for clients

Completes all agency-required training and continuing education required for license

Performs other duties as assigned
