Vice President of Sales

SALMON Health and Retirement is seeking a Vice President of Sales to provide sales leadership and oversight for SALMON senior living communities and service levels with a specific goal of achieving occupancy targets. Responsibilities

Provide management, leadership, training, and measurement of campus sales and marketing teams
Drive KPIs including tour volume, tour versions, speed-to-lead, and nurturing of prospects and referral partners
Lead, direct, and support sales counselors on a daily basis through regular coaching, calls, site visits, and thorough follow-up
Coach sales systems with a specific focus on income-producing activities, identifying sales strengths and areas of opportunity (both individually and in a group setting)
Participate in the ongoing evaluations and annual reviews of sales counselors
Assist executive directors and the marketing director in implementing accountability systems to measure staff performance and results related to sales and marketing
Provide regular updates and communication to the CEO, executive directors, and sales counselors on the progress of sales efforts; standardize monthly reporting for sales and census status and trends, sales team productivity
Assist in designing, writing, implementing, and evaluating sales and marketing trainings as well as manage and organize company-wide learning
Provide the motivational support the community teams need to adapt to a 100% occupancy mindset and sales-centered culture
Promote SALMON’S mission, vision and core values
Serve as SALMON’s representative in the community to promote a positive image and promote interest in our various product/service offerings

Required

5-7 years in Independent Living and Assisted Living Sales
A bachelor's degree is required
Communicates clearly and succinctly in writing and verbally for a variety of purposes, including informational, persuasion, motivational, and meaning
Understand and articulate the nuances among our continuum of services and can set SALMON apart from our extensive competition
Project development and management skills – ability to lay out a roadmap to the successful execution of projects and initiatives. Strong leadership and project development skills

Preferred

Experience with Yardi and prospect-centered selling (aka Aline/Sherpa)
An advanced degree in marketing, communications, related field or business (MBA) is a plus
