They are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead their Accounting Shared Services team, focusing on financial reporting and accounting processes while ensuring compliance and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Accounting Shared Services team, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset accounting
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to drive performance improvements
Champion automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency
Support external audit efforts and maintain familiarity with SAP elements (e.g., profit center and cost center hierarchies)
Inspire and motivate the team, fostering collaboration and professional growth
Promote a culture of recognition, engagement, and strong management practices
Partner with business leaders to ensure SSC activities deliver value and address feedback effectively
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
CPA certification (required)
Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting functions
Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP in a shared services environment
Proven track record of leading accounting teams and delivering high levels of customer service
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting
Expertise in GAAP compliance and internal controls
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Strategic mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
