Responsibilities
Help to ensure that patients and their families receive warm, friendly and considerate assistance
Act as a liaison between patients and the professional staff in department
Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including interviewing, registering, admitting, updating and creating patients’ medical records
Perform accurate and timely processing of all professional/technical fees generated by department providers
Qualification
Required
High school or equivalent
One (1) year of clerical support in a health care setting or related experience
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
Commitment to delivering the highest quality service
Preferred
Basic medical terminology
Experience with EPIC
